The Sound of Christmas Winds by Roxanne Layton

Roxanne Layton, percussionist and recorder player for Mannheim Steamroller in concert, has created a CD filled with lush, traditional Christmas carols, a timeless collection that fills the air with a warm holiday ambience. This compilation of carols is performed on recorders and percussion in total by Roxanne, in the spirited style that has become her signature.  Roxanne Layton’s goals include establishing the recorder as a versatile instrument, capable of playing many styles of music. On this very CD you will hear the recorder played in the style of Renaissance, Baroque, improvised and Celtic sounds.
